The new flat of a retired couple stands on the former industrial site of Hunziker AG, which for decades has mined and processed gravel and produced concrete products. In contrast to the former grey landscape, the interior of the Hardegg residential complex is to be given a new lease of life. Cheerful, warm and earthy notes are to adorn the new home with a modern character. The goal of a calm and harmonious overall look, despite colourful furnishings, is achieved with colours that transcend the living space and create a balance between the rooms. In order to keep the transition from the loggia to the living room as fluid as possible, the colour of the floor and the wall are matched to each other which at the same time achieves visual generosity. A custom-made built-in library creates the desired separation between the living room and the TV room and also improves the acoustics.
